SCUDERIA stalked in the third flight on the outside by the half, sat alone in midfield with three eighths from the wire while hard ridden to go after the leaders, swung out five wide to be in the conversation turning for home and had a good stretch rally between runners to just miss getting up for the place share in the end. COUNTRYBOYSURVIVE travelled five deep in midfield, started to uncork a run three wide outside horses at the three eighths pole, could not match strides with the winner outside entering the stretch, nonetheless, kept on coming down the lane, split rivals smartly in the three path at the furlong marker and got up just at the wire to settle on the fringes. MAY AND JUNE assumed the lead on the rail in the beginning, increased the advantage through the turn, continued to be in control just off the rail at the top of the lane, began to shorten stride staying on the left lead at the eighth pole and faded inside horses in the last sixteenth. EL DIABLITO pressed the pace between rivals on the start, tracked the leader with horses on both sides at the three eighths pole, came under a ride battling between horses for the place share in upper stretch but faltered in the last furlong. SPIRITUAL MAN broke out on the break, relaxed inside runners in the middle of the pack with a half mile to run, regressed just off the fence through the turn and had nothing to offer on the rail in the stretch run. TEAM TALABAAT settled in midfield in the four path between runners along the back straight, retreated in the two path to be in last with five sixteenths to run and was empty for the drive going three wide down the lane.
