Chart notes
LUCKY SCORE was unhurried early, swung seven wide into upper stretch, struck the lead about a furlong out while drifting a bit, edged away under steady urging. SOCIETY'S THUNDER was well-positioned stalking early, raced three to four wide on the turn, bid in upper stretch, fought on inside the eventual winner, yielded grudgingly. WAR COURT was close in the very early stages then eased back and switched out late up the backstretch, moved closer again four to five wide on the turn racing between foes coming to the top of the stretch, weakened thereafter. WESTERN WHIRL moved clear, set the pace from off the rail, was challenged leaving the turn, fought through upper stretch then yielded. PERFECT CRIME broke outwardly, settled outside mid-pack, advanced five to six wide past the three-eighths, drifted a bit in the stretch, was not a late threat. NO MORE OPTIONS settled off the leaders and removed from the fence, came out a bit further in the stretch, failed to menace. RAT PORTAGE hesitated at the start and got away a bit awkwardly spotting the field several lengths, shifted in and rushed up inside just in behind the pacesetter, tracked while saving ground on the turn, steadily dropped back late on that bend, angled out in upper stretch, failed to rally. BLAST IN THE SNOW settled off the pace, saved ground to no avail. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
