Chart notes
LITTLE MARTHA stalked the pacesetter for five-eighths, rallied on the far turn to engage that one nearing the quarter pole and pulled clear in the lane from a stubborn runner-up. BARTULIA set the pace on a clear lead through the first turn, widened the advantage in hand down the backside, weakened midway on the final bend and held on stubbornly through the lane to be second best. IRISH STONE trailed to the backstretch, gained ground along the fence to the far turn to be in striking distance at the quarter pole, cut the corner turning for home to loom up and finished evenly unable to sustain the rally. CAMILO tracked the leaders throughout and rallied with a mild, non-impactful bid in the lane. DIZZY KITTY was well placed to the far turn and faded from contention. ON TAP was not a factorr.
