Chart notes
HE'S A MESS was unhurried tracking the leaders for the first five-eighths, narrowed the marging on the turn while still patiently in hand, rallied splitting rivals turning for home to quickly seize the lead and drew off as much the best. DRUNK ON SAKE set the pace on a clear, well rated lead to midway on the turn, responded when called upon leaving the five-sixteenths pole, had no answer for the winner in upper stretch and ran-on as second best. ALEMAN stalked the pacesetter to the far turn, rallied on the bend to edge closer, failed to pass and was no match in the lane.
