Chart notes
VENIK stalked the pace from four wide to be prominently placed turning for home, took the lead in upper stretch, repelled the threat of the runner-up midway down the lane and pulled clear determinedly. YES I'M JESS slow early to be the trailer, circled six wide under early encouragement on the bend, rallied well to threaten at the eighth pole and could not sustain the bid late finishing well as second best. SILAS M P set a pressured pace to midway on the turn, lost the lead to the presser nearing the quarter pole, came on again cutting the corner turning for home to re-take the lead and was outfinished coming home in a game effort. STARSHIP LEGACY was well placed racing along the fence into the turn, was boxed-in on the bend lacking racing room, angled out at the top of the lane and finished with a mild bid. MICHAELSHATRICK traioled most of the way saving ground to no avail passing weakened rivals in the stretch. HIGHTAIL FOX reserved off the pace and lacked a kick when called upon. MAD ABOUT CAROL pressed the pace to midway on the turn, took a brief lead nearing the quarter pole and gave way in the lane.
