Chart notes
PASA DOBLE broke well, showed the way inside while under some pressure, shook clear before a half, extended that advantage through the second turn, maintained that comfortable advantage to the wire under steady handling. MAGICAL MAX closest to the winner throughout while off the inside, proved no match for that one, maintained the place. MIDNIGHT TALKER lacked early foot, improved position with a belated rally, getting to the runner up late. STOOPS TORNADO allowed to settle while off the pace and the inside, set down for the drive, not enough late for the show while widest of the second flight at the wire. FLAT BE JUDGED broke in the air, trailed much of the way, moved out four wide by late in the final turn, improved position with some mild late interest. PEVS BILLY BAYOU in the second flight early in the two path, fell back before a half, continued to fade and was well beaten. GOSPEL HOT ROD broke out, raced four wide through the first turn, tired and was also far back and the end. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
