Chart notes
EL SUNSHINE allowed to settle early, advanced to mid-pack through the turn, was set down near the five-sixteenths pole, took the two path into the stretch, switched leads perfectly at the head of the stretch, and finished strong to overtake the leader in deep stretch and won clear. TIZ A TEN I SEE broke alertly then stalked VIA down the backstretch and through the turn, bid three wide into the stretch, raced greenly but finished up well go earn the place. VIA sprinted clear early by a length or two, took the field to mid-stretch, drifted out under left handed urging and weakened in the final furlong. CHICKA CHICK settled well off the pace near the rear of the field, started a sustained run three wide into the turn, swung five wide into the stretch and finished up well to improve. HOT PINK broke best but was outpaced through the early stages, chased on the rail through the turn, and finished up with some interest, mildly gaining while never a serious threat. MO'O LIO reluctant to load, raced in the middle of the pack while holding the rail position early, steadily retreated before the turn, kept to the inside, and managed to outfinish a few while not being asked for much in the late stages. TODDY was pushed to get forward position, under a drive to keep pace through the turn, then had little to offer in the stretch. APPEAL was hard to load, broke a step slow, then chased from the rear, made a mild advance up the rail through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, and tired. GIRLS KNICKS NOW was last away, raced four wide, advanced through the turn to gain contention approaching the quarter pole, came under pressure at the top of the stretch, failed to change leads, and faltered.
