BLONDINA'S BOY prompted the pace three wide in the beginning, settled back watching the lead two down the back straight, started to mount a run at the three eighths pole closing in, had clear run four wide at the top of the lane and under a well-timed stretch rally got up for the win outside in the final few strides. PLEASE DON'T GO was sandwiched between horses on the break, recovered to press between foes under the wire for the first time, let the lone speed horse go on with it down the backside with the field spread out, started to close the gap by the half, whittled away on the frontrunner when scrubbed for more midway on the far turn, loomed three wide in upper stretch, poked his head in front briefly with a sixteenth to run but just got nabbed by the winner outside at the wire. CASTLE HARBOUR settled in midfield on the rail, began to pick up the bit reaching for more ground into the far turn, skimmed the fence looking for room while in the mix at the top of the lane, clipped heels trying for a tight seam just off the rail in mid-stretch, re-rallied at the sixteenth pole shifting to the outside and came on late to capture the show money. MIAH SAID was roused early to take command on the rail into the first turn, opened up by a good margin setting a brisk pace along the backside, continued up top but by a diminishing margin by the half, travelled just off the fence turning for home holding the lead but was beginning to shorten stride between runners in mid-stretch and faded on the rail in the last sixteenth of a mile to settle for a minor placing at the wire. NIKINZIE broke out on the start, had an inside stalking role near the rear in the early parts of the race, came under a drive keeping pace while taking the short way around the turn and while shifting to the three path in the stretch could not get involved running down the lane. FEELS LIKE A KYLLA was bumped on the break co-trailing outside for the first half of the race, offered a mild run outside at the three eighths marker and in the three path could not get into contention in the stretch running. ONE SMOOTH STONE was bounced around between rivals on the start, co-trailed inside another in the early stages of the race, still remained at the back of the pack unable to quicken with others at the three-furlong pole and managed to pass a weary foe while on the rail in the final sixteenth of a mile. ARRAKASTA IZAN had an outside stalking role with the field widely spread apart along the backstretch, made a mild move outside at the five sixteenths pole, swung out widest in the six path for the drive to the wire but had nothing to offer in the stretch running.
