Chart notes
SILVER RALEIGH moved clear on the first turn shifting in, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, was shadowed by rivals heading into the far turn, drifted out a bit turning for home, drifted back in a little past the eighth pole then straightened out, just held under continued urging. TONY FROM ANGUS settled mid-pack tracking inside saving ground, cut the corner into upper stretch now within range of the leader, was in a bit tight along the rail as that rival came in past the furlong marker, tapped on the brakes just slightly but was promptly encouraged just after, surged late up the inside to just miss while galloping out in front soon after the wire. ARMINO settled toward the rear inside on or just off the rail, saved some ground both turns, came out a bit late on the far turn in behind runners, tipped out six deep in upper stretch, ran along to get up for show. STRATUS broke out just a bit, was well-placed among the leaders heading into the first turn, switched outside a foe and stalked two to three wide, took closer order from between foes forcing the issue at the half, was encouraged along coming past the quarter pole in range of the lead, kicked on evenly for the minor award. LET'S GO LIAM broke just a tiny bit awkwardly, recovered promptly to gain good forward position stalking from outside, moved closer midway up the backstretch three to four deep, was in range coming to the top of the stretch, lacked the needed late kick. SHINIGAMI exchanged incidental contact at the start, settled at the back three to four wide, was forced outside foes four to five deep on the far turn fanning six to seven wide into upper stretch, moved out further and passed some foes but was one-paced and never close enough to threaten. RUNAWAY MAXI stalked from between runners mid-pack mostly two to three wide, was encouraged leaving the backstretch but failed to rally. KAIROS MOMENT had minor contact at the start, settled outside four to five wide at the back early, shifted in entering the far turn saving some ground on that bend, failed to rally. ITS IN THE CARDS stumbled at the start and lightly bumped with a foe, chased from outside mid-pack three to four wide, was never a threat.
