Chart notes
JAYDYN CAT broke sharply and went clear in the inital stages, was being pressed by DIXIE MORNING throughout, did battle with that rival through the stretch, fought on gamely in the closing stages and got the benefit of a favorable head bob right on the wire. DIXIE MORNING rushed up after a slow start, vied between horses then settled in a stalking position two-wide to JAYDEN CAT, came under some pressure approaching the quarter pole, then responded when set down at the top of the stretch, dueled to the finish, may have gotten a nose in front at some point in tne final yards but came up on the short end of the photo in a game effort. ROSY EDGE settled three-wide near the back, was roused approaching the quarter pole, then swung four wide into the stretch, was gaining on the leaders but ran out of time. DEAL ME A PENNY broke best but ceded the lead, pressed three wide into the turn, launched a three-wide bid towards the leaders from the three-furlong pole, finished with good energy but was not good enough. SABERFIGHT was outpaced from the start, backed up to be last early, advanced under a drive through the turn, but could not sustain the bid and flattened out by mid-stretch. FOURALIVIA broke outward at the start, settled well behind the pace, tried to launch a bid from the quarter pole but did not respond. AGAMI outrun down the backstretch, swung five wide on the last run and managed to pass one late. MAXIMUM MOXIE stumbled at the start, chased inside from mid-pack then tired in the stretch.
