COSMIC TRAIN was unhurried at the back through the first half-mile, made a steady advance through the far turn racing four wide, tipped out into the clear and produced a strong finish under steady handling and urging while racing on the left lead but won clear. MACHO BEANIE assumed a forward position without being asked, pressed THE BOSS SOSS two-wide to the far turn the ramped up the pressure through that run while that rival fought back, gained the upper hand inside the sixteenth marker, but was outfinished by the winner. GOOD AND STOUT ralled three wide on the far turn from the middle of the back, went a little flat in the final furlong but kept on to gain the third spot. THE BOSS SOSS gained the lead without much effort, had MACHO BEANIE keeping pace to the outside, dug in when that one kicked on at the three-furlong pole, battled gamely to mid-stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. CAJUN AMI settled near the back, saved ground, finished with an even pace. TAKE CHARGE J J came away well and was forwardly placed, tracked a couple of lengths behind the leaders to the half, then came under a ride to go after that pair but did not respond and could not must up a rally in the stretch. GET THEM JUSTIN tracked four wide for the first half-mile, tried to mount a rally through the far turn but was outkicked and responded to urging in the stretch by drifting in and out. BEHEMAH STAR allowed to settle into stride after the break, raced inside mid-pack through the early stages, mildly advanced when put under a drive last the half-mile pole, struggled to keep up late on the far turn, dropped back and had nothing to offer in the stretch. BLUE CHEESE was last into the first turn, raced two off the rail, took a couple of odd steps near the six-furlong pole as if jumping shadows, lost contact with the field down the backstretch, was eased and pulled up near the eighth pole, vetted and walked off.
