Chart notes
MATHURINE tracked the pace along the inside, tipped three wide and given cue at the head of the lane, steadily gained ground and edged away late. SWISS DANCER raced in range in the opening quarter, chased three wide around the turn, came four paths wide into the upper stretch, sustained a steady outside bid and finished second best. FLAT STORMIN was forwardly placed up the backstretch, vied around the turn, continued to battle into lane, got collared at the sixteenth pole and weakened to show. RIDE raced off the pace, saved ground entering the lane and lacked a needed rally. NOW WE GO led the way up the backstretch, dueled around the turn and into the stretch then gave way in the final furlong. LOTTERY TICKET tossed head and came away slowly at the start, trailed, hustled along the outside throughout but could not recover from the poor start. SIMPLIFIED failed to move into contention.
