Chart notes
CHATTY LEROYBROWN hesitated at the start to get away behind his field then raced in the back of the field early, moved up three-wide nearing the three-eighths pole and was up in the final sixteenth to win going away. NEPHELE stalked the pace racing two-wide, angled out to be three-wide leaving the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead nearing the quarter pole then quickly opened a clear lead but was unable to resist the winner late. COCONUT DREAMS saved ground setting the pace under pressure from LITTLE VENUS, drifted out slightly nearing the quarter pole and held on fairly well for third. BURNIN AT MIDNIGHT was reserved off the pace, moved up along the inside to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole and then faltered during the drive. LITTLE VENUS prompted the early pace from along the outside and weakened. VALID GOLD was allowed to settle while racing three-wide and failed to seriously threaten. FAE ALLANNAH was unhurried early while racing three-wide on the first turn and was not a factor. DANZING ZELLA saved ground racing in the middle of the field and tired.
