Chart notes
GONE AND FORGOTTEN settled on the far outside, moved in a bit leaving the backstretch, ranged up in the four path on the turn, made a bid in the five path into the stretch then took the lead at the three-sixteenths pole, swapped back to her inside lead while going clear just inside the furlong marker then drifted in, remained clear into the final sixteenth, switched back to her proper lead late and proved best under steady urging. MAGGIE T was hustled to the front, set the pace under pressure from her outside, vied in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage at the quarter-pole, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and was outfinished but willingly earned the place. ALTERED SHOT was hustled from the gate, pressed the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, took the lead at the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong, moved out around the sixteenth-pole and weakened while able to hold the show. INTERMITTENT FAST froze up in the post parade and was very recalcitrant, hit the inside of the gate and was away awkwardly then in tight early, raced off the pace under urging, moved in leaving the backstretch, shifted from the three path to the five path on the turn, chased outside in the six path into the stretch, pursued the leaders on the outside while looming a threat into the final furlong but also weakened. JACKIE THE JOKER moved around just at the gate opened but broke in front, was well placed just off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, chased under a drive into the final furlong and tired. FLOGE was urged along towards the rear, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, swung out to the seven path into the stretch and failed to rally. GHOSTLY GIRL settled just off the pace, dropped back in the three then four path on the turn and came up empty. SCARBOROUGH FAIR broke out and hit the gate, steadied while pinched back between horses early, went around the turn in the two path and was no factor. VIOLENT VIXEN tossed her head briefly at the start but broke towards the front, chased the pace while snug against the rail, saved ground on the turn and retreated.
