RUNAWAY AGAIN was pinched on the break to trail the field in the early stages, started to mount a rally splitting foes at the half mile marker, gathered more speed circling foes three wide midway around the final bend, pounced quickly four wide taking control at the top of the lane and drew off with authority in the final furlong. KAMASI was nestled on the rail behind the pacesetter in the first turn, edged up by the half tracking the lead trio inside, shifted out at the five sixteenths pole off the tiring early leader, had to wait for running room with a quarter mile to go, angled out five wide having a clear lane in upper stretch and rallied smartly in the final furlong to be a clear second behind the long gone winner. TRIP ACES broke out on the start, vied between rivals up front around the first turn, then through the backstretch, poked his head in from briefly with challengers on either side midway on the last bend, was in the mix for a smaller share in the two path at the top of the stretch and dug in between foes late to save the show money in the final seventy yards. GLOBETROTTING stalked near the rear on the rail, closed the gap inside foes down the back straight shifted out finding a path three wide mid far turn, dated to the fence under right-handed encouragement in mid-stretch and finished up mildly inside horses dueling for the third place share. NAUGHTY FROSTY prompted the issue five wide around the first bend, continued outside three deep hounding the leader along the backside, moved in to be three wide at the five sixteenths pole, fought on three wide in the hunt straightening out for home but had little left late and yielded in the last eighth of a mile. MOPHARRA broke in at the start settling in mid-division on the first turn, shifted to the outside along the back straight, offered a brief move three wide at the three eighths pole until the quarter pole being in the four path, was pushed out to be six wide entering the lane and lacked a rally outside down the stretch. JUST JACOBO travelled in midfield three wide outside runners on the first turn, was shuffled back to last by the half, made no progression on the far turn, shifted three wide for the drive to the wire and could only manage to pass the tiring early leader outside at the furlong pole. EXTRAORDINARY ONE (GB) broke in at the start, was roused taking the lead inside going into the initial bend, maintained a narrow advantage along the backside, could not hold the lead on the fence at the five sixteenths pole while under a ride and folded on the rail in upper stretch.
