Chart notes
AND THATS MY STORY stalked the pace from a clear pocket down the backside, bore-out into rivals path at the three-eighths pole while commencing rally, engaged the leader turning for home and dueled through the lane to the sixteenth pole and pulled away late. MAXIMUM FAITH set the pace under constant pressure, disposed of the early presser going into the far turn to go clear briefly, was engaged midway on the bend by the winner, battled with that one to late in the lane and was outkicked to the wire in a game effort. NORTH SHIP reserved off the pace for the run down the backstretch, rallied from six wide into the final turn, was prominent to loom turning for home and finished willingly while unable to close on the top pair. ANALYST unhurried in the early going to be near the rear of the field for the first five-eighths, rallied on the bend to contention and finished evenly unable to gain in the lane. CRACKING CONNOR reserved in hand to race mid-pack down the backstretch, rallied entering the far turn from five wide, was impeded by the bearing out winner having to steady sharply, lost all momemtum and finished evenly. COULD DO pressed the pace for a half and gave way. SEMPER ANTICUS was not a factor. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY AND THE RIDER OF CRACKING CONNOR CLAIMED FOUL FOR INTERFERENCE BY AND THAT'S MY STORY AND NORTH SHIP FOR INTERFERENCE ON THE FAR TURN NEAR THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE FOUL CLAIM AGAINST NORTH SHIP AND ALLOWED THE OBJECTION AGAINST THE WINNER AND DISQUALIFIED THE WINNER PLACING HIM FIFTH.
