Chart notes
PRINCE OF AYRSHIRE reserved off the pace saving ground the entire way, closed the gap from the fence on the far turn, waited patiently for racing room in upper stretch, tipped out through the lane and was up in time in a drive in a well handled ride. CASHIER CHECK set a pressured pace to the quarter pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and was caught late in a good effort to be second best. STARSHIP EMPIRE trailed to the far turn, rallied five wide to threaten turning for home and finished evenly as no match for the top pair. BURNIN TURF pressed the pace while tugging down the backside, remained prominent at the top of the lane and faded lacking a closing bid. R ADMIRAL tracked the leaders to the far turn, rallied between rivals on the bend to be well placed in striking distance and flattened out in the lane.
