TAP INTO THIS lost his rear footing at the start buckling before getting away from the gate, chased just off the inside until tipped three then four wide at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command nearing the eighth pole, then edged clear to the finish. BARB broke out a step at the start, prompted the pace of MAINSTREAM from the outside two then three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch seizing command straightened away, dug in under threat and was collared just outside the eighth pole, ran on safe for the place honors. DURATION chased along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, cut the corner into upper stretch and bumped with MAINSTREAM straightened away, dug in under a drive and kept on clear of the rest for the show honors. PRIVATE FLIGHT stumbled at the start, chased three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the wire. MAINSTREAM cut the pace along the inside and then just off the inside under pressure from BARB to the outside, got ridden along at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch yielding command straightened away and tired, then got guided outside inside the final furlong and was not persevered with to the end.
