SASSY PRINCESS went around the first turn in the three path, settled on the outside but with cover, moved out and was removed from cover near the half-mile pole, gained into the second turn, ranged up while asked in the three path on that bend, took the lead at the three-sixteenths pole, responded well under a drive in the final furlong and held under strong urging. STARLIGHT DANCER rounded the first turn in the two path, settled towards the back, was roused with three furlongs to run, went around the far turn in the three then four path under urging, moved closer under a drive into the stretch, pursued the winner on the outside, swapped back to her inside lead at the furlong marker, gained into the final sixteenth but missed while just able to get the place. TEMPLE CITY TABOO was taken under a tight hold early then reserved on the inside, was let out briefly near the three-eighths pole but quickly taken back in hand, continued to save ground while held up behind horses on the far turn, swung out into upper stretch then reached the six path around the three-sixteenths pole, rallied outside into the final furlong and finished with good energy but was too late and just missed the place while able to get the show. SILENT MELODY raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid with three furlongs to run, took the lead in the two path on the far turn, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, fought on well into the final sixteenth but was outfinished. SAILAWAY traveled around the first turn in the three path, settled near the rear, was urged along late on the backstretch, rounded the far turn in the three path and lacked the needed response. RUNWAY LIGHTS settled on the inside, was roused while coming off the rail on the far turn and also lacked the needed response. THAT'S FUNNY raced inside to the two path on the turns while near the back and failed to threaten. HIGHER FORCE raced in the two path on the first turn, settled between horses, was asked outside the three-eighths pole, went around the far turn in the two then three path, spun into the stretch in the five path and came up empty. TIMIA moved in while going to the front, tossed her head some while keen under restraint into the first turn, showed the way on the inside, was asked on the far turn, lost the lead near the five-sixteenths pole and faded. POLITICAL SPIN rounded the first turn in the three path, settled on the outside without cover, dropped back quickly late on the backstretch and was pulled up then walked off the turf course before being transported off the main-track via equine ambulance.
