BALI ROLLING TIDE broke well but was taken back to a tracking position for the first half, started to run on approaching the nine-sixteenths marker, had aim on the two leaders near the top of the stretch, then swung out four wide into the stretch and produced a steady rally to be up in time despite racing on the wrong lead. F J'S FLACO made the front on the first turn, opened up a length or two and led the field to the far turn, opened up near three-eighths pole with only CONFUCIOUS taking up the chase initially, held well to mid-stretch, then started drifting out late and was outfinished. TAP TO CONNECT settled in the middle of the pack, was under a stiff drive from the nine-sixteenths marker, kept to the inside and finished up well under a drive. CONFUCIUS was hard to load, then backed in from the front of the gate, was away slowly and broke outward, moved up through the first turn to press the pace two to three wide, chased that rival through the far turn and into the stretch, kept trying but could not find the winning kick while under a steady drive. STONE ALLIANCE settled inside near the rear, rode the inside through the far turn under a ride and finished evenly while never a serious threat. CHIEF KIMOSABI broke out into JAYS HOLIDAY at the start, then was unhurried early, advanced late on the backstretch run, but could not sustain the bid inot the stretch and flattened out. KATS PICK showed brief speed from the start, vied through the first turn, then ceded the front end, came under a ride before passing the half-mile pole, steadily faded through the far turn, and did not offer any response in the stretch. JAYS HOLIDAY got bumped then pinched back at the start, was the trailer to the stretch, swung six-wide while being put to urging but lacked a response. OUR HEATSEEKER raced mid-pack three-wide through the early stages, struggled to keep on on the far turn and had little to offer in the stretch.
