Chart notes
GETOUTOFDAWAY broke well but ceded the front end, tracked the leaders into the turn, while keeping to the two path through the turn, tipped out to the three path for the stretch run, finished up well under strong handling, put a head in front inside the sixteenth, and just held safe from a late bid on the outside. BREWSTER COUNTY was unprepared for the start and spotted the field a big head start, started to run on with three furlongs to run, and produced a furious five-wide rally in the stretch and just missed. CAJUN CATTITUDE dueled inside of THE COQUETTE to the stretch under confident handling, took the lead in upper stretch but failed to last. PSALM PRAYER broke well, was briefly in the early pace mix then backed off to mid-pack, bid three wide late on the turn, was unable to change leads, and outkicked to the wire. THE COQUETTE dueled outside of CAJUN CATTITUDE through the early stages, then weakened in upper stretch. TWENTY FOUR GRAND hustled from the break, was outpaced to the turn, weakened passing the quarter pole and had nothing to give for the stretch run.
