THE WICKED CAT dueled outside of FIRST SAMARITAN from the break, edged ahead nearing the furlong grounds and went clear late. HOUSEQUAKE outpaced early, was sent along from the seven-sixteenths pole, advanced through the turn, bid four wide at the top of the stretch, had some trouble changing leads but finished up well, chasing the winner to the finish. FIRST SAMARITAN broke best and dueled inside of THE WICKED CAT from the start, battled gamely to mid-stretch and gave way in the final furlong. CLOSING AGENT was away well and hustled into the early pace mix, was not able to press the pace but chased the leading pair through the turn, kept on well under steady handling and urging, but was outfinished for a minor award. MY MAN BRANDON took up early, dropped over to the rail before the turn, was in last midway through the turn, was kept to task through the stretch, and finished with some interest. LIGHTNING TWIRL hustled from the start, briefly pressed the early pace, then retreated through the turn and was not involved in the late stages. LEE'S WICKED ONE was reluctant to load, then slow into stride at the start, was outrun and falling behind going into the turn, swung five wide into the stretch and managed to pass a couple of rivals late. MARIACHI MAN raced mid-pack early, then had nothing to offer in the stretch. OUR BODIE broke outward at the start and was last away, made a mild improvement going to the turn, then faltered in the stretch.
