Chart notes
BIG EVEREST (GB) moved in while going to the front, was well rated while setting the pace on the inside under a snug hold, controlled the action while let out on the far turn, responded well when asked inside the three-sixteenths pole, came under a right-handed crop at the furlong marker and held under strong urging. NELSON AVENUE was rated just off the pace on the inside under a tight hold, continued to save ground while let out on the far turn, was roused in the three path into the stretch, pursued the winner on the outside past the eighth-pole, inched closer to that foe while making a bid in the final furlong and just missed but earned the place. GENERAL JIM tugged hard on the bit under tight restraint into the first turn then steadied, saved ground while reserved off the pace, was roused near the quarter-pole, chased under a drive in the stretch and finished willingly to get the show. I'M VERY BUSY settled in the two path near the middle of the field, was roused outside the quarter-pole, moved out some under a drive in upper stretch, drifted out inside the furlong marker then was straightened by the rider and lacked the needed kick. CARAMEL CHIP steadied in tight between foes early then dropped back, was reserved at the rear in the two path, came under urging around the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the three path and lacked the needed response. FULL SCREEN went around the first turn in the four path, settled on the outside without cover, tucked into the three path for the run around the far turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole then turned into the stretch in the five path, drifted in under a right-handed crop near the furlong marker and failed to rally. NANTASKET BEACH rounded the first turn in the three path, was rated on the outside without cover, came under encouragement in the three path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, dropped back into the final furlong and came up empty. REGALO was hustled from the gate, tracked the pace on the outside in the two path, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole then carried into the four path entering the stretch and also came up empty.
