Chart notes
SIR LUCAS was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, moved up to take the lead at the quarter pole and gradually drew clear. RAIL TOWN was bumped at the start by TEMPTING PROSPECT and carried out into ACERO, then saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out to be three-wide entering the stretch and finished in a mild rally. TEMPTING PROSPECT broke out bumping RAIL TOWN then was close-up early racing two-wide, dropped back nearing the three-eighths pole, angled out to come five-wide into the stretch and finished well in a steady effort. EL DIAMANTE NEGRO was allowed to settle, rallied four-wide nearing the quarter pole and then went evenly late. ACERO was bumped hard at the start by RAIL TOWN and pinched back, raced in the back of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. RIDE FOR GOLD dueled with RED MEMORYS from along the inside for the lead to the quarter pole and weakened. RED MEMORYS dueled with RIDE FOR GOLD for the lead and tired.
