Chart notes
ROY HOBBS was bumped at the start by SIR GREYSON then tracked the pace racing two-wide, responded when asked and finished strongly to be up in the final strides. GUNNIN FOR GOLD broke out to bump SIR GREYSON then opened a clear lead while saving ground setting the pace and just failed to last in a game try. OM FIRE saved ground while being allowed to settle, slipped through during the drive and closed strongly. HORSE DOCTOR raced in the back of the field, rallied four-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. SIR GREYSON was bumped at he start by GUNNIN FOR GOLD and carried out to bump ROY HOBBS then was forwardly placed to the stretch racing three-wide and weakened. FORT NECESSITY was bumped by ROY HOBBS at the start then was unhurried, came three-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
