Chart notes
FLYING MISS unhurried early while dropping back to trail, launched her bid from the back of the pack while saving ground at the rail entering the final turn, and continued to gain from along the inside in the drive, before splitting rivals approaching the wire to get up in time. BAKBURNER away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backside and through the final turn, maintained a narrow advantage into the lane, and just failed to last. QUALITY COMMAND broke sharply and tracked the leaders in the run down the backstretch while racing three out from the rail, continued to force the issue from the outside of two rivals through the final turn, and into the lane, and finished evenly three wide in the drive to garner a share. INDYETTA was fractious prior to the start, and was a bit slow into stride, tracked the leaders through the first turn before angling three wide for the run down the backstretch, battled for the lead two wide from between rivals through the final turn, but was outfinished in the late stages. VALERIE VALESKI rushed up between rivals to press the pace two wide entering the first turn, continued to battle for the lead two wide entering the backstretch, was unable to keep tabs on the pacesetter midway down the backside, and steadily dropped back.
