Chart notes
HEY NOW was well placed sitting just off the top trio, picked up the tempo late on the turn, roused left handed in the upper stretch, responded, steadily edged up closer under steady pressure, poked a head in front near the sixteenth pole and edged away. GOING IN STYLE dueled for the lead from the onset, briefly held the lead leaving the backstretch then came back under pressure from SKIP THE LINE, battled heads apart into the stretch run, got overtaken by the winner near the final sixteenth, ran on and outdueled rival for place. SKIP THE LINE hustled up out of the gate and dueled for the early lead, sat back briefly leaving the backstretch then moved back up to battle with GOING IN STYLE around the turn, raced heads apart into the lane, was no match when HEY NOW swept by late, kept on and got edged for place. KAELY'S BROTHER was reserved racing in the back, hustled along two wide into the stretch and improved position without threatening. MANNY'S KAT tracked the top trio, chased along the inside around the turn then gave way. A JUST CAUSE vied three deep for the early lead, chased in range around the turn then weakened.
