Chart notes
XCARET sped to the lead at the start, led the way around the first turn and up the backstretch, turned back the bid from SHABAM near the quarter pole, saved ground turning for home, quickly widened to a clear advantage and kept to task. SHABAM was forwardly placed around the first turn and stalked the pacesetter up the backstretch, moved up to race in aim at the quarter pole, failed to move on with XCARET leaving the far turn, ran on two wide and cleared second best. WAR MUSIC came away in good order and raced in contention around the first turn, tracked the pace near the inside up the backstretch, hustled along two wide around the far turn, failed to make headway on the top pair, ran on three wide in the lane and cleared the rest. COMFORTS JAZEL raced off the pace, was ridden along four wide around the far turn, swung five wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. SLICK CITY GIRL raced in range up the backstretch, failed to progress under pressure around the far turn and steadily retreated. REINA DEL SUR raced in the back, saved ground throughout and failed to move into contention.
