Chart notes
RED ELEANOR reserved off the pace racing in tandem with the runner-up, made a steady gain on the turn saving ground tipping two wide, rallied well down the lane and surged late from between rivals to be up in the final strides in a determined drive. LINNY KATE unhurried racing well off the pace to the outside of the winner down the backside, rallied five wide on the turn to engage the leader in upper stretch, dueled through the lane to take a short lead in deep stretch and was outkicked by the winner in a good try. EQUINAMOUS set the pace under mild pressure to the backside, edged clear to the far turn, kicked away on a clear lead on the final bend, dug-in responding well down the lane and was caught late in the drive in a game effort. QUEEN ANNA T stalked the pace to the far turn and lacked a closing bid coming home evenly. VINGATIVA was not a threat. STARSHIP MACYS pressed the pace for a half and was through early.
