Chart notes
PRINCESS RUNAWAY pressed the pace into the turn, rallied on the bend to take command in upper stretch, kicked clear midway down the lane and was unthreatened through the stretch in a convincing effort. RUSTY MY BROTHER stalked the pace through the turn and finished with an even rally to be second best while failing to close the gap on the winner. FLEUR DELACOUR set the pace under mild early pressure, responded when challenged on the turn to the top of the lane, could not match the winner and ran-on in the lane as best of the rest. SHORTY MAC was one-paced never posing a threat. TRIPLE R RATED dwelt at the start leaving the gate over three seconds after the field was gone and was not a factor having lost all chance. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START, UPON REVIEW IT WAS DETERMINED THAT TRIPLE R RATED HAD RECEIVED A FAIR START.
