Chart notes
AQUITANIA ARRIVAL prompted the early pace, closed the gap leaving the three-eighths pole, ranged up to challenge turning for home, took command in upper stretch and kicked away through the lane. STRAIGHTOUTADUTTON set the pace on a clear early lead, responded when engaged nearing the quarter pole, battled in upper stretch, could not keep pace with the winner and finished willingly to hold the place. THALBERG reserved off the pace while saving ground along the fence near the rear of the field, angled five wide to the clear to rally at the top of the lane and finished well with a bleated bid. LOUISIANIMAL tracked the leaders through the turn and lacked a closing kick in the lane. ENJOY THE MUSIC slow early to be the trailer, swung eight wide at the head of the lane and showed good late interest. CITY TRIPPER was well placed just off the leaders at the quarter pole, chased in upper stretch and flattened out late in the drive. SPAN OF CONTROL rated of the pace racing three wide on the bend and lacked a response when called upon.
