Chart notes
REMEMBER THE FEAR chased three wide and to the inside of a rival leaving the five eighths, shifted out to about the five path around the final turn, leveled off when switching over to his correct lead approaching the sixteenth pole, kept grinding outside foes to take command late then edged clear nearing the wire. HAWAIIAN HIDE AWAY , sent from the gate and led into the first turn, was joined from his outside around the first turn and dueled through the backstretch run, chased the clear leader from the three eighths, came back along the rail to re engage past mid stretch, kept on gamely and earned the place. BOONE'S PATH moved up three wide and to the outside to contest the early pace, poked a head in front soon into the backstretch, dueled under rating, edged clear three furlongs out, maintained the advantage under a drive past the furlong grounds, failed to contain challenges from both sides and faded very late. BYWORD angled out early and stalked the embattled leaders, took closer order near the five eighths, chased four wide from the three eighths, loomed under pressure in mid stretch then flattened out late under some hand urging. VINO COURAGIO broke a step slow, lost ground five to six wide through the opening half mile, dropped in to pursue from the three furlong marker but failed to drum up a rally. JOYZELLA , well wide throughout, dropped back leaving the half mile marker then was eased through the final furlong.
