PADDY D'ORO broke sharply and dueled for the lead from the outside of RICK'S DANCER entering the stretch the first time, continued to force the issue through the second turn and in the run down the backside, the pace battle continued through the final turn and into the lane, got the better of his pace rival in mid stretch, and just lasted. DUPLICATION tracked the leaders from along the inside through the stretch the first time, maintained his position in the run down the backside while racing one out from the rail, rallied two out from the rail through the final turn, and closed willingly three wide in the drive to just miss. RICK'S DANCER away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, continued to set a pressured pace in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, and gave way grudgingly late while proving best of the rest. TEXAS MOONSHINE away well and stalked the leaders through the stretch the first time while saving ground at the rail, posted a mild bid from along the rail midway down the backstretch, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but needed more late while finishing evenly over the final furlong. JOCK TALK unhurried early while trailing well behind the field entering the stretch the first time, continued to lag well back in the run down the backstretch, saved ground while mounting his bid through the final turn, and finished three wide in the drive while unable to make a serious late impact.
