Chart notes
BRAHMS IMAGE took over the lead soon after the start and led the way around the first turn, set the pace under some pressure up the backstretch, repelled bid from ST. ELMO at the quarter pole, saved ground turning for home, widened advantage and kept to task. ST. ELMO stalked the pace around the first turn and into the backstretch, launched a bid for BRAHMS IMAGE near the quarter pole, could not reach equal terms with the eventual winner but ran on with response and finished clearly second best. OWN THE FIELD raced two wide around the first turn and rated in the second flight mid-way up the backstretch, hustled along late on the far turn, came two wide into the upper stretch and outnodded rival for show. VIVIR CON ALEGRIA (CHI) settled along the inside through early stages, cut the corner turning for home, came under a ride along the rail and got outnodded for show. ACTION SEEKER was forwardly placed around the first turn and prompted the pace up the backstretch, failed to progress under a ride around the far turn and faded in the lane. RIVER RIDGE was unhurried in early stages, joined the second flight mid-way up the backstretch, hustled along four wide around the final turn then retreated in the lane.
