Chart notes
AMOROSA sped to the lead at the start and led the way around the first turn, set soft fractions in early stages while maintaining a clear advantage, held firm still unleashed around the final turn, came two wide into the upper stretch, tapped a couple times past the furlong marker, responded willingly and kept to task under a brisk hand ride. GLUCKSTADT raced three wide around the first turn and tracked the early pace, edged closer late on the far turn, given cue three wide at the head of the lane, showed response, cleared second best but was no match for the winner. CASHMEUP was forwardly placed around the first turn and stalked the pacesetter up the backstretch, came under a ride mid-way around the far turn, continued hard ridden into the lane and secured a share. IRISH RANSOM raced in contention tracking the pace along the inside, coaxed along the rail around the far turn, failed to advance and steadily weakened in the lane. GREAT BARRIER settled in the back two wide, hustled along three wide into the stretch and never threatened.
