VIEUX CARRE trailed the field while never far off the pace, rallied on the turn, went widest in the drive, closed willingly, got up late and drew clear. ANTONACCI GIRL stalked the pace along the inside, backed up into the turn, closed off the rail and got up late for place. GREYHOUND STATION vied two across, inched clear on the turn, swung out entering the stretch, responded when challenged to duel, didn't have enough late and just held for show. THUNDER IN PARIS stalked the pace, rallied on the turn, was carried out a bit entering the stretch, challenged for the lead, dueled to late stretch, hung and just missed for third. STEP LIGHTLY vied inside, dropped back on the turn, weakened in the drive and faded from contention.
