Chart notes
AOIDE broke well and made the front without being asked much, got some pressure from a couple of rivals late on the turn, kept them at bay under steady handling, and held clear to the wire. WABASH was put in tight a few strides after the break, became a bit rank and fought the rider in the early going, pulled up four wide to be within striking distance of the leaders approaching the three-furlong pole, was three-wide and bid for the lead at the top of the stretch, could not get to the winner but held clear for the second spot. LEMON FIZZ was not involved early, chased to the turn, started to advance leaving the seven-sixteenths marker, came under pressure leaving the quarter pole, was slowly gaining under steady urging, but was not enough. CHANNELFORTYNINE got floated wide at the start, then tracked three-wide in the second flight to the initial running, moved up to challenge AOIDE on the turn, was turned away at the quarter pole, kept on under steady handling and urging, but was outfinished for a minor award, but miles clear of the next finisher. OLYMPIA HARBOR void of speed, was last into the stretch and finished with some energy and improved position. UNAFFILIATED veered out at the start, then hustled away, raced close up through the early stages, then was overtaken before entering the turn, and lacked a finish. SIMPLICATED broke well, then backed off to the rear, struggled to keep pace through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and flattened out. MOOR TO CONQUER rushed up after breaking a step slow to race mid-pack to the turn, had no response when asked on the turn, then slowed to a canter in the stretch. T V C ONE FIVE broke outward and made contact wtih AOIDE at the tart, hustled to the front after that slow start, was overtaken by AOIDE before the half, came under a stiff drive before the three-furlong marker then steadily faded through the turn and stopped in the stretch.
