ROCKCLIFFE away alertly and tracked the contested early pace while saving ground at the rail, shifted three wide approaching the final turn to engage the leaders, quickly assumed command midway through the turn, and continued to widen late to prove best. DEAL EM stalked the leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, continued with a wide trip in the run down the backside, loomed a danger while launching his bid four wide entering the final turn, was no match for the winner over the final furlong, but closed steadily five wide in the drive to get up for the place in the final strides. BLUEGRASS LENT away well and tracked the pacesetter into the first turn while racing one out from the rail, forced the issue two wide in the run down the backside and into the final turn, was quickly overtaken midway through the turn, and finished three wide in the drive to garner a share. JUSTCALLMEJAMES broke sharply and raced to the lead while being geared down at the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from the inside of BLUEGRASS LENT in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, and finished three wide in the drive. GO LENT GO settled at the back of the ack while saving ground along the inside entering the backstretch, rallied along the rail entering the final turn, but failed to make a serious late impact.
