Chart notes
STEEL LINK led the way under pressure in the opening quarter, vied outside of LATE FOR LUNCH entering the turn, dug in gamely at the head of the lane, shook free, widened advantage under a drive and finished clear. DRILL'S LI'L MAN tracked the pace up the backstretch, continued three wide in contention around the turn, sustained bid into the lane and finished second best. CONSPIRACY FACT rated just off the early pace, was ridden along the inside late on the turn, cut the corner and came under right handed pressure entering the lane, sustained an inside bid and got outfinished for place. LATE FOR LUNCH pressed the early pace, vied inside of STEEL LINK late on the backstretch and around the turn, could not move on with eventual winner past upper stretch and weakened. PURPLE OCTOPUS got bumped between rivals at the start, sat off the early pace, coaxed four wide near the quarter pole, came five paths wide into the lane and ran on evenly. BIG BOSS BEN raced in range, moved two wide between foes around the turn, hustled along into the lane and had no kick. MISCHELOF (CHI) trailed throughout.
