Chart notes
LORD DIAMOND tracked the leader up the backstretch, remained patiently handled around the turn, came two wide in the upper stretch, advanced to take the lead near the furlong marker and kicked clear. JIMMY B raced off the to pair in the opening quarter, came under a ride three wide late on the turn, sustained bid into the lane and finished well to clear second best. MY GOLDEN BABY quickly clear out of the gate and set the pace up the backstretch, held firm near the inside around the turn, got collared by the eventual winner near the furlong marker and weakened to show. PEARCY ROAD raced off the early pace, saved ground, swung four wide into the stretch and improved position. JAMESONS CHALK chased the pace along the inside, cut the corner entering the lane and failed to move on. CALEDONIAN raced in the back and dropped far back after a half.
