SOUTHERN SPEIGHT dueled inside of I HAVE A DREAM soon after the start, continued to race near equal terms around the turn and into the upper stretch, rival held a slight edge going by the furlong marker, fought on gamely along the rail, raced noses apart past the sixteenth pole, dug in under firm handling and edged foe late. I HAVE A DREAM dueled outside of SOUTHERN SPEIGHT soon after the start, battled on around the turn, held a slight edge in the upper stretch, fought on gamely and got denied in closing strides. SHESACINCH tracked the top pair in early stages, hustled along late on the turn, kept under ride into the lane, finished with response and closed on the top pair. MAXIE LADY raced in range in early stages, chased two wide around the turn and gave way. THORN CROWN saved ground and failed to threaten. MAUI MISTRESS raced three wide and had no response.
