Chart notes
CAMINO DE SANTIAGO reserved in hand tracking the leaders through the turn along the fence saving ground, cut the corner turning for home, was put to a drive in mid-stretch to be urged through the opening along the rail and surged through late in the lane to prevail in a well handled ride. CON ON THE RUN broke alertly across rivals path, was straightened away to quickly go clear, maintained the advantage turning for home, drifted two wide leaving a clear path for the winner, dug-in through the drive and was caught in the final fifty yards. REJECTED AGAIN checked at the start when the pacesetter broke out into his path, settled at the back down the backstretch, ranged up four wide turning for home to loom in mid-stretch and hung in the final eighth unable to sustain the bid. COUNTRY RUCKUS prompted the pace through the turn from three wide and weakened in the lane.
