Chart notes
RIDING A DREAM sped to the lead shortly away from the gate, opened a clear, well measured lead through the turn, kicked away in upper stretch and was never seriously threatened in a convincing performance. VENIK reserved off the pace racing near the rear pf the pack, made a steady advance nearing the quarter pole, rallied in the lane splitting rivals and was up for the place in deep stretch. WE CALLED SOL tracked the leaders through the turn, rallied from five wide in upper stretch to prominence late in the lane and was outkicked for the place near the wire. MR. SQUEAKY WHEELS prompted the pace to the turn, chased the winner on the bend to mid-stretch and weakened in the final eighth. MR. AMERICAN went evenly failing to menace. ON TAP was well placed stalking the leaders from the fence and flattened out turning for home. STARGAZZERS DREAM unhurried early to trail, failed to respond when called upon and was never a threat.
