Chart notes
VOLATILE STORM stalked the pace from four wide through the far turn, rallied turning for home, made a steady advance to take the lead nearing the sixteenth pole and held the closers safe in a determined drive. DE LA CRUZ bumped at the start, settled in mid-pack for the run down the backstretch, rallied at the quarter pole from six wide between rivals and closed well to be gaining late. ANALYST unhurried in the early going to trail most of the way, saved ground cutting the corner at the top of the lane and mounted a good bid along the rail. AND THATS MY STORY pressed the pace to the far turn, took the lead midway on the bend, opened the advantage to mid-stretch and couldn't last, tiring late. NORTH SHIP went evenly lacking a closing rally when called upon. COULD DO set a presssured pace through the first turn, briefly pulled clear down the backside, battled on the lead to midway on the turn and gave way.
