Chart notes
FLAMINGO WAY last to break, was coaxed forward to track inside just off the pacesetter, bided time through the turn with no clear path, took advantage of an opening along the rail in upper stretch, and finished best to win going away. FIONA'S MAGIC pressed the early pace three-wide, pulled even approaching the quarter pole, and finished with good interest to gain the place. SHOSHANAH was quick to the front, led the way through the turn, dug in under a threat from rivals at the quarter pole, led into the lane but weakened in the final furlong. MYSTIC SEAPORT broke on top then settled in a stalking position three wide, bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, but was outkicked in the stretch. SUGAR BEE broke with the pack but outpaced early, steadied going into the turn, then bid four-wide into the stretch, was gaining some but was not able to threaten. GIFT OF GAB raced close up but under some restraint in traffic, finally got a clear run in upper stretch but lacked a finish. TIME FOR AN ANGEL raced three wide near the back and was outfinished.
