RUNTOLIVE tracked four-wide down the backstretch, then launched a bid after passing the three-furlong pole, bid three-wide at the top of the stretch, finished well despite being on the left lead, was forced out some in mid-stretch by RED WHISTLE but kept on to win clear. MOION was not involved early, kept to the inside while making steady advances, emerged at the top of the stretch with every chance, finished with some interest, and was able to kick on for the second spot. RED WHISTLE vied two-deep in the early running, dueled with CAIRO CHARM through the turn, got the best of that rival in upper stretch, then drifted out under left-handed urging and was outfinished. COAL DANCER broke well, then ceded the front, backed off to a tracking position, then tried to rally approaching the three-furlong pole, took a little bit to get going but kicked on better than most and was able to improve in the later stages. GORMLEY'S QUEEN broke well, then tracked wide with the third flight, launched a bid with three furlongs to go, loomed five-wide at the top of the stretch, did not switch leads, and flattened out. CALL ME SUSAN broke a beat slow, then rushed up and was briefly up with the early pace battle, then under a ride to keep up heading into the turn, was overtaken approaching the quarter pole and unable to threaten in the later stages. GRACE'S SOLDIER last early, chased the field through the turn, kept to the inside, outfinished a few tired ones. CLASSIC DEAL lacked any early speed and settled back early, was under a drive through the turn but unable to improve. CAIRO CHARM broke sharply, dueled with RED WHISTLE from the start, battled gamely but tired in mid-stretch. ARMS APRIORITY broke well and was up with the pacesetters in the initial stages, lost position through the turn and had little to offer in the stretch, was eased to the finish, and walked off.
