Chart notes
GIFTEDBYDESIGN attended to the modest pace, bid along the second turn, drew off in the stretch and was ridden out as much the best. WINEMAN TRAX tracked outside, asked three wide nearing the quarter marker, could not keep pace with the winner into the stretch and held well late for the place. SPONGE TIME well placed, tracked inside to the second turn, caught in traffic nearing the quarter marker, angled three wide to upper stretch, was outkicked in the drive and just missed for second, while holding safely for third. WESTHAMPTON settled to backstretch, roused four wide upper stretch, no late kick. DREAM SCHEME assumed early command, set modest pace to far turn, faded stretch.
