Chart notes
PRIVATE THOUGHTS broke alertly then ceded the early lead, tracked inside to the far turn, tipped out and bid two wide nearing the quarter marker, battled between foes into the stretch, took command into the final sixteenth, dug in late and determinedly held for the win. SMART STRIKER unhurried early, weaved through rivals into the far turn then bid three wide at the quarter pole, battled into the stretch, was denied late for the win and bested the rest. STICKY MCSHNICKENS sent to the early lead, controlled pace to quarter marker, met bid into upper stretch, battled into the final furlong, yielded late and was a clear third. DRINK N WINK settled inside, was caught in tight and checked at the three-eighths, saved ground to the stretch and finished evenly. JACK KEROUAC settled outside, chased three to four wide into the far turn then shifted in nearing the top of the lane, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch and flattened out. TIGRE tracked pace three to four wide to second turn, gave way. WASAMATTAFOYOU forward early, chased between two wide along the backstretch and was done after a half mile.
