Chart notes
MASH ON THE GAS vied inside of GREY STREET around the first turn and up the backstretch, shook free past the quarter pole, came two wide into the upper stretch, widened advantage just off the inside under left handed pressure and remained clear. CAVANAL was allowed to settle out of the gate and remained reserved in the back up the backstretch, shifted out late on the far turn, hustled along four wide into the upper stretch, rallied along the outside and finished second best. COMPREHEND was forwardly placed around the first turn, tracked the embattled pair up the backstretch., saved ground around the final turn, cut the corner entering the lane, gained position along the rail and ran on for a share. COVERT QUALITY settled through early stages, chased three to four wide around the final turn, raced four deep at the furlong marker, kept on with interest but lacked the needed kick for serious impact. GREY STREET vied outside of MASH ON THE GAS around the first turn and up the backstretch, could not move on with the eventual winner late on the far turn, ran on into upper stretch then gave way. ALLEGRISSIMO tracked the embattled pair in early stages, moved up three wide to race in strong contention mid-way around the far turn, came three wide into the lane and flattened past the furlong marker.
