Chart notes

AVANA settled off the leader entering the stretch the first time while saving ground at the rail, continued to save ground through the second turn to race into a tracking trip from along the rail entering the backstretch, rallied along the rail entering the final turn while awaiting room, shifted two wide leaving the turn, overhauled a stubborn AIR FORCE entering the lane, and pulled cleat late to prove best. AIR FORCE away alertly and opened a clear advantage through the first turn and into the stretch the first time while saving ground at the rail, continued to dictate the pace from along the rail in the run down the backside and into the final turn, was overtaken soon after straightening for home, and continued on bravely through the lane to prove easily second best. WIRLY GIRLY broke sharply and stalked the pacesetter into the lane the first time while racing just out from the rail, gained a tracking trip two wide entering the second turn, chased the leader in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, was unable to keep tabs on that rival leaving the turn, and finished three wide in the drive to garner a share. MATSQUI settled off the early pace while racing two out from the rail entering the stretch the first time, moved into a tracking trip three wide for the run down the backside, was unable to keep up with the field through the final turn, and had little to offer late.
